The Ford F-150 comes with engine options, starting with the standard 3.3-liter V6. Check out all your options below:

  • 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 (400horsepower)
  • 5.0-liter V8 (400horsepower)

Plus, the Ford F-150 now comes with a hybrid powertrain option, combining a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and a 35kW electric motor. This system provides a driving range of up to 700 miles.

Towing and Payload Capability

The base engine on the Ford F-150 gives you a generous towing capacity of up to 8,200 lbs. The available engines offer even more capability, including the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, which allows you to tow 14,000 lbs. 

The hybrid model offers a max towing capacity of 12,700 lbs. Payload capacity ranges from 1,840-3,250 lbs.

The Ford F-150 comes in eight trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum, Raptor, and Limited. 

Safety and Infotainment

A standard rear-view camera with dynamic hitch assist comes standard on all trims of the 2022 Ford F-150, as does pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking.
